The inaugural papers hosted by the DKU Center for Natural Resources and Sustainability (CRS) seeks submissions of original research works in line with the CRS’s thematic areas. Accepted papers will be open-access publications dedicated to the dissemination of research to the interested academic and scientific community and broader audience. Each paper will be assigned a separate DOI followed by a discrete appearance date and tailored announcement and dissemination. 

It is published by Kazakh-German-University in Almaty, Kazakhstan 

There are no Article Processing Charges (APC) and publication fees.

Publication frequency - 2 issues per year

Aim and Scope

Central Asian Journal of Sustainability and Climate Research (CAJSCR) seeks to reach all scientists focusing on works examining climate, energy, land and agriculture, sustainable logistics, and other areas relevant to the thematic scope of the journal in Central Asian region. 

CAJSCR searches for research evidence about new scientific inventions and novel ways of applications of scientific discoveries in the above-mentioned areas, as well as an important account of functioning,  contextualization and customization of both novel and existing application of science as pertinent to countries in Central Asian region. 

Review process

All articles are reviewed by two blind peer-reviewers, one from Central Asia and one from outside of the region. The reviewing process is supervised by an international editorial board with expertise in the region.
