Editorial Policy 

Central Asian Journal of Sustainability and Climate Research CAJSCR (ISSN: 2958-2709) will publish original articles in English or Russian.

CAJSCR does not have any publication and processing charges and all the manuscripts are published free of cost in the original language submitted.

Review process: Each submitted article is independently reviewed and if deemed suitable for CAJSCR, it is sent to two referees for double-blind peer review. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, it will be decided whether the paper should be accepted in the current form, revised or rejected. The period of each review is 1-2 months. Copyright: Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published before in their current or substantially similar form, or be under consideration for publication with another journal. Authors submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty. Authorship: All authors should have made substantial contributions to all of the following: (1) the conception and design of the study, or acquisition of data, or analysis and interpretation of data, (2) drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content, (3) final approval of the version to be submitted.


Author Contributions: Detailed information about the specific contributions of every author should be provided. Please list all authors with their initials.
Example of Author Contributions statement:  AB and DJ conceived and supervised the study; AB and KL designed experiments; KL, DG and DGN performed experiments; AG provided new tools and reagents; KG developed new software and performed simulation studies; KL and DGN analysed data; KL, AB and DJ wrote the manuscript; KL and AB made manuscript revisions.


Requests to add or remove an author, or to rearrange the author names, must be sent to the Editorial Office and must include: (a) the reason the name should be added or removed, or the author names rearranged and (b) confirmation (e-mail) from all authors that they agree with the addition, removal or rearrangement. In the case of addition or removal of authors, this includes confirmation from the author being added or removed. Any requests to add, delete, or rearrange author names in an already published article will follow the same policies as noted above and result in a corrigendum.

All versions of the articles (Submitted, Approved, and Published) are deposited at Scholastica platform and the CAJSCR website without embargo.

Final step before submission:

  • Ensure that the manuscript is complete, grammatically correct and without spelling or syntax errors.
  • Stated facts must be supported by references, arguments, empirical numbers, etc.
  • All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa.
  • Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources.
  • Information on Author Contributions 
  • The referee suggestions and contact details provided follow CAJSCR’s requirements.

 To submit an article:

  • Please Click on the ‘Submit a manuscript’ button (below) to Create an Account
  • Follow the on-screen instructions, filling in the requested details before proceeding
  • Click Signup and your account has been created.
  • Confirmation instructions will be sent to your email.
  • Click on Confirm my account
  • This will take you through to the Manuscript Submission page
  • Complete all fields and browse to upload your article
  • When all required sections are completed, preview filled information
  • Submit your manuscript

The journal covers Scholastica submission fee of $10 per manuscript.  Do not submit the same manuscript twice to avoid multiple charges. The submission of a revised version of the manuscript is free of charge if the option "resubmit the manuscript" is used.

Authors are encouraged to include a list of 3-4 potential reviewers with contact information (name, email address, affiliation). The suggested reviewers must meet the following requirements: a) the reviewer must be competent in the relevant scientific field; b) the affiliation of the reviewer must be different from the first author; c) the author and a reviewer should not have joint publications for the last 3 years. The editor has a right to decide if the suggested or independent reviewers are invited.
